Siru" means a kind of 'Land grass' that could find in Hilly side of Nepal and "Pate" means the 'Leaf'. This khukuri got its name from the same grass. The shape of this Khukuri is not so curve as like other designs of khukuri and the blade also much thinner then other design. Its main benefit is, to be more comfortable to use and to charge at any direction.  It is simple look traditionally handmade kukri with thin blade and light weight.

This is also called Gurkhas Training Sirupate Khukuri. From the year 2009, the gurkhas rifle has been getting training about using Sirupate Khukuri. It has been another compulsary weapon once they are sent to Jungle Operation that carry at back side of backpack.

This 15 Inch sirupate Khukuri is made of highly graded carbon steel. The overall length of Khukuri is 20 Inch. Handle round is 5 Inch. Its is comfortable to carry by its weight. Maximum wideness of this kukri is 1.5 Inch that is razor sharp.
